Macallan 1950 Tales of The Macallan Volume 1

An exceptionally rare single malt from the Macallan warehouses, the first entry in the Tales of the Macallan series was distilled in 1950 and bottled after more than 70 years in oak. Each Lalique crystal decanter is presented in a leather-bound book created by Shepherds – one of Britain’s oldest bookbinders. The beautifully illustrated volume tells the story of Captain John Grant, who built the iconic Easter Elchies House in 1700 and sowed the first barley on the future site of Macallan distillery.
